Thursday & Friday
|8.00am to 6.30pm|
During the above opening times there is always someone available to both personal
callers and telephone callers to answer any query and sort out routine matters.
Extended Opening Hours:
We run a late evening surgery on Mondays (6.30pm - 7.30pm) & Fridays (7.30am - 8am). These are pre-bookable 10 minute appointments designed
for patients who would otherwise find it difficult to see a Doctor during normal opening hours due to their work.
You may not be able to see your usual Doctor.
We are also unable to provide blood testing and dressings during
these hours, therefore some patients may have to come back and see a Nurse.
Doctor's Consulting Times:
Practice Team Training 2014:
The surgery will be closed for one afternoon each month (see table below) for training and there will be no
routine clinics or surgery appointments on that afternoon.
The surgery will be closed for routine and urgent appointments from 1.00pm-6.30pm for practice training.
Medical cover will be provided by South Staffs Out-of Hours Service - Please call 03001 303030 if you require medical attention.
Please note the surgery is open until 6.30pm- for prescription collection, ENT and clinics. There will be no GP in attendance
The surgery will be closed for team training from 1.30pm to 6.30pm on the above dates. |
How to make a Routine Appointment:
Simply call our appointments number
(see above). After 5pm please call our normal number.
How to cancel a Routine Appointment:
If you cannot keep your appointment with the Doctor or Nurse, please use one of the following methods to tell us:
By Telephone: Call 01785 279161 and tell the receptionist.
By Fax: Fax us on 01785 224140.
In person: Call in to the surgery and tell the receptionist in person.
This enables us to offer your appointment to someone else. Up to 80 patients
fail to cancel their appointment each month. This not only wastes valuable Doctor and Nursing
time, but also means everyone waits longer to be seen.
Urgent Care Team
As of March 2014, the duty doctor system is changing in order to provide you with better access to effective care.
